Course Content

On Day 1 the course will cover the basic principles of how to undertake a risk assessment in line with current Health & Safety legislation and guidance. Delegates will also apply the knowledge and skills in a classroom-based project work activity that will be assessed and marked for competence. 

On Day 2 the course will move into applying the principles learned on Day 1 into Risk Assessing Violence in the Workplace. To aid you we will provide you with template forms that we have created to save you having to go away and design and develop anything yourself. You will also get the opportunity of undertaking a classroom-based project activity on assessing violence in the workplace.

Project Work: On completion of Day 2 you will be expected to go away and undertake a project-based assessment in a place of work which you will be assessed on by the course tutors.
