BTEC Level 4 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Award

The Main Aims of the Course are:

To qualify individuals with the BTEC Level 4 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

The course also looks at the application of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Neuro-Associative Learning (how the brain learns by association) in a physical skills development environment. The course also covers aspects of Positive Psychology and even Quantum Mechanics making this one of the most unique and interesting PTLLS courses in the country today when taken as part of the BTEC Level 3 Advanced NLP Practitioner Award Course.

Why get a PTLLS Award?

As many of you are aware it is a requirement of many industry sectors that trainers now also possess a teaching qualification, which is what the PTLLS Award will give you.

The Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector covers the basics of teaching in continuing and adult education - including how to plan sessions, motivate learners and use a variety of assessment methods.

To achieve the PTLLS Award you will need to complete five learning outcomes - the majority of which can be done by distance learning. To assist you all of the course paperwork required to complete the award has been pre-prepared for you meaning that all you need to do is simply read the instructions for the required task and complete the documents included.

As part of the course delivery and assessment you will be required to deliver a 15-minute micro-teaching session on the course itself, but once again, the documents you require to do that have already been pre-prepared for you to help you achieve that activity easily.

Also, on the course we will be able to help and guide you if necessary to ensure that you paperwork is competed correctly.

Course Duration

The course is run as an additional module on the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Physical Restraint Instructors Course and is a requirement of anyone wishing to deliver Door Supervisors Training courses.

This course is also run as an additional module on the BTEC Level 3 Advanced NLP Practitioner Award Course which complements the course beautifully.

Certification:

On completion of this course you will receive the PTLLS Level 4 Award n Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
