    Course Aim: The NFPS Level 2 Award in the Use of Force to Control & Restrain Pupils provides Education staff with the legal underpinning and knowledge to enable then to control and restrain violent pupils in line with UK Law and current Guidance. This course is consistent with the guidance issued in April 2010 for Schools in England. Click here for more information

    Course Aim: The aim of this course is to instruct people in simple yet effective breakaway (disengagement) and self-defence skills to enable them to protect themselves when faced with the risk of physical violence in a situation of serious and imminent threat to their personal safety.     Course Aim: This qualification is designed to provide training for people in skills in non-restrictive (for low-level challenging behaviour) physical intervention and disengagement skills in the workplace to deal with vulnerable young people or vulnerable adults or whose staff perform security functions. young people, or adults or who perform security functions, that have to deal customers or service users who display ‘challenging’ behaviour and who therefore need training in low-level / non-restrictive physical intervention and disengagement skills.     Course Aim: The BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Physical Restraint Practice (Care & Control) has been specifically written for Care Staff and Education Staff to achieve a Nationally Recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification on the knowledge, understanding and skills learners need to undertake appropriate and effective physical restraint to an intermediate standard. Click here for more information

    Course Aim: The BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Physical Restraint Practice for Security Staff and Door Supervisors course allows for all staff the opportunity to achieve a Nationally Recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification on the knowledge, understanding and skills learners need to undertake appropriate and effective physical restraint to an intermediate standard. Click here for more information
