The 5 Day NFPS Physical Restraint & Breakaway Instructors Qualifying Course (including the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Physical Restraint Practice) provides an entry level qualification in physical restraint instruction (No pre-requisite quaifications are required to attend this course). This will qualify you to deliver physical restraint training anywhere in the UK.

The next stage is to attain the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Coaching & Instruction in Physical Restraint. On successful completion of this award you will be entitled to deliver all of our BTEC Level 2 Awards in Restraint and Breakaway & Self-Defence via License through us enabling you the ability to offer your client base National Vocational Qualifications in Physical Restraint and Breakaway / Self-Defence.

No Pre-requisite Qualification required!

As stated above, no pre-requisite qualifications are required to attend our Restraint & Breakaway Instructors Qualifying Course. However, completion of both, the Restraint & Breakaway Instructors Qualifying Course and the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Coaching and Instruction in Physical Restraint, combine to provide you with the BTEC PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) Award at Level 4. The 2 Day NFPS Physical Breakaway / Self-Defence Instructors Qualifying Course will qualify you to our 1 Day BTEC Level 2 Award in Breakaway & Self-Defence via License through us for those of you who will not be delivering physical restraint training, enabling you the ability to offer your client base a National Vocational Qualification in  Breakaway / Self-Defence.

The following courses are a selection of bespoke training courses that we have constructed and delivered for a number of large local authority directorates around the UK. The courses have all been constructed around a robust training needs analysis and risk assessment process thus providing you with peace of mind and professional assurity that what is beng taught has been suitably and sufficiently thought through in line with current legislative requirements.

If you are consideirng commissioning training why not in the first instance provide a briefing for your management and staff on the legal requirements surrounding the use of physical force. This low cost option will allow you to evaluate (or re-evaluate) your organisations use of force strategy before you commit to spending larger sums of money on training your staff.
