Eligibility
NFPS Ltd sets high standards and expects the same from it's Licensed Centre's. Therefore, to be eligible to apply for Licensed Centre status you will have needed to have attended and successfully passed the following:
1. The NFPS Restraint and Breakaway Instructors Qualifying Course, including the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Physical Restraint Practice;
2. The BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Coaching and Instruction in Physical Restraint Practice.
Benefits
On successful completion of the above two courses you will become eligible to apply for NFPS Ltd. Licensed Centre approval which will provide you with the following benefits:
1. License to run the 1 Day BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Breakaway and Self-Defence: (for more info on this course click here);
2. License to run the 3 Day BTEC Level 2 Intermediate Award in Physical Restraint Practice: (for more info on this course click here);
3. £5 Million of Instructor Indemnity Insurance cover, specifically underwritten for physical restraint and breakaway training;
4. Company or personal details displayed on the NFPS Ltd. site under our Licensed Centre section: (to see others listed click here);
5. Company or personal details displayed on the N.O.R.M.A. (National Organisation for Restraint Membership and Accreditation) site under the Approved Centre section: (to see listed Approved Centres click here)
6. Complete instructors packs for each BTEC Award that you are licensed to run, including all quality managed ISO 9001/2000 approved documentation;
7. Licensed use of NFPS and N.O.R.M.A. Logos.
Interested - All you need to do
If you are interested in becoming an NFPS Ltd / N.O.R.M.A. Licensed Centre so that you can offer quality managed and nationally recognised qualifications, thus giving you a unique business leverage in the market place, you only need to do two things:
1. Attend the Restraint & Breakaway Instructors Qualifying Course in between the 3rd - 7th March 2008, and then (for more info on this course click here);
2. Attend the BTEC Level 3 Coaching Course being held between the 9th - 13th June 2008 (for more info on this course click here).
Both courses are being held at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre and are 5 day all-inclusive residential courses. The only additional cost is the cost of the yearly license which is £475.00 per year. |
