NLP has been called "The Difference that makes a Difference". In essence it is the study of what works. The basis of NLP is that all behaviour has a structure and that these structures can be modelled, learned, taught and changed.
The central task of psychology, whether experimental or applied, is the understanding of human behaviour, which is extremely complex. However, that does not mean that it doesn't have a structure, and that structure is communicated through our everyday language that we speak, at times, without knowing what it really means in relation to how we make sense of our world.
NLP works by assisting people in understanding the process, structure and context of how individuals communicate, thus allowing the NLP practitioner a range of options in their ability to communicate effectively with others. This ability can allow the NLP practitioner to immediately build rapport with the person they are attempting to communicate with allowing for more constructive communication. In training this is important because it allows trainers to become more effective in the way they communicate their lessons.
Attending this event will show you ways of improving your performance as an instructor and coach in all of your dealings with those you train and instruct.
It will also show you how we can better communicate with all individuals from all walks of life by understanding how we all encode, store and re-present information and how we give those clues away in our language structure.
The day will also show you how you can start taking control of your own life by the use of proven NLP technology and how your thoughts can influence the way you behave and feel.
Mark Dawes, who will be running the event is a Licensed Master practitioner of NLP ( Neuro-Linguistic Programming) licensed through the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and trained by Dr Richard Bandler (Co-Founder of NLP), Paul McKenna, John LaValle and Michael Neill.
